Material needed: 1 sheet of 4x8-1/2 CDX plywood, 2x6-12’ (legs) will be cut into 3’ lengths, 2x4 enough to line the lip of the top edge of the plywood on the feeder (this will add strength).  Cut the plywood into 1 foot strips lengthwise – then cut off 2 foot of 1’x8’strips – 6’ for front 2’ for sides

Build the frame by nailing the 2x6 and 2x4-s together using 16d nails. The wide side of the 2x6 will be on the side and the narrow facing the front.  Using 1 Ό” galvanized deck screws, fasten the plywood to the frame. Drop 2 bales of hay into the feeder and then cut the strings.
